RVCS is a California Distinguished School with an Academic Performance Index (API) of 925 in 2011 - the highest for high schools in San Diego County and third in California of schools of similar rankings. Our curriculum prepares students for college and inspires them to become self-motivated, competent, lifelong learners. All RVCS core high school classes have been designed as college preparatory courses and have been approved by the University of California to meet its A to G requirements.

RVCS students can choose on-campus learning or independent study through our Dual Track Program. The Hybrid Track allows for two days on-campus and the remainder of the week in independent study. The Independent Study Track is 100% online study from home.
